Federal Work-Study

The Federal Work-Study Program is a federally funded, 黄瓜视频App-based aid program designed to provide part-time jobs for eligible students with financial need.

Jobs are located both on and off-黄瓜视频App.
黄瓜视频App are paid at least minimum wage. Some positions pay a higher wage.
黄瓜视频App work around their class schedules.
黄瓜视频App receive a bi-weekly paycheck for hours worked.

To participate:

Submit the no later than December 1 each year.
黄瓜视频App must have demonstrated financial need per the FAFSA.
黄瓜视频App must be meeting .
黄瓜视频App must be enrolled at least half time (6 credit hours) each semester they are employed.
黄瓜视频App may not work more than 29 hours per week.
黄瓜视频App may not work during regularly scheduled class times or activities.
Student earnings may not exceed the amount of Federal Work-Study that appears on their most recent financial aid award.

Details

The Office of Student Financial Aid will send an award notification to eligible students with instructions for securing a job.

Fees owed The 黄瓜视频App will not be deducted from wages earned through the Federal Work-Study Program.

Though program earnings are taxable income, they are excluded from consideration as income on the FAFSA for the following year.
